Wychavon customer services
Wychavon District Council has Community Contact
Centres based in Evesham, Pershore and Droitwich
Spa. These are designed to give residents and
businesses direct access to all Council services at
easily accessible points within their local community.
Each Centre has a team of specially trained staff
whose aim is to provide assistance and advice on
all Council matters. As part of the Worcestershire Hub
we provide access to the services of Worcestershire
County Council as well as Wychavon District Council.
We also have a comprehensive range of information
leaflets and forms available covering all the services
both Councils provide, as well as other national bodies
and local organisations.
In addition, the Evesham Contact Centre provides
access to the services of West Mercia Police, Evesham
Town Council and Job Centre Plus.

The Green Deal and ECO – Opportunities for
Wychavon Businesses
What is the Green Deal?
Green Deal is the Government’s new retrofit energy
efficiency programme. It will make finance available
to enable householders and businesses to carry out
energy efficiency improvements to their properties
such as cavity, loft and external wall insulation and
energy efficient boilers.
The cost of installing the measures will be re-paid ove
time through a charge on the property’s electricity bill
For the work to be undertaken, the ‘golden rule’ must
be met which states that the charge is no higher than
the expected savings. The charge will be made for th
property rather than an individual.
