Investment in production and filming
facilities to date has provided an additional
boost to local and regional economies.
Tourism
is one of the area’s most significant
growth sectors generating around
£100 million for the local economy and
supporting over 1,600 jobs. With its coastal
location, green countryside and valleys
backdrop, Neath Port Talbot offers vast
opportunities for a wide range of businesses
in the tourism and leisure sectors. New
hotels, guest houses and self-catering
cottages coupled with major infrastructure
improvements to key attractions such
as Afan Forest Park, have placed Neath
Port Talbot firmly on the map for activity
based tourism.
